Deepinder Goyal, the CEO and founder of the food delivery giant Zomato, has made headlines by becoming the first customer in India to own the newly launched Aston Martin DB12.
The British supercar, priced at Rs 4.59 crore (ex-showroom), is the latest addition to Goyal's impressive collection of luxury vehicles. This collection already boasts names like the Porsche 911 Turbo S, Ferrari Roma, and Lamborghini Urus, among others.
The Aston Martin DB12, which was introduced to the Indian market in September of the previous year, stands out with its Satin Aston Martin Racing Green color, giving it a sleek and classy appearance.
The car features 21-inch alloy wheels with a diamond-cut finish, enhancing its sophisticated design. The DB12 is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine sourced from Mercedes-Benz, delivering about 680 PS and 800 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, allowing the car to accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 3.5 seconds.
Deepinder Goyal's passion for high-performance and stylish automobiles is well-known, and his latest acquisition underscores his status as an automobile enthusiast.
The DB12 is celebrated for its modern and sophisticated interior, featuring a dual-tone leather interior, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a newly designed center console with numerous physical buttons. It also includes a digital instrument gauge cluster, emphasizing the car's modern appeal.
The Aston Martin DB12 has been designed with a focus on comfort, as well as highway and canyon cruising, marking a significant update from its predecessor, the DB11. Despite its aggressive appearance and performance capabilities, the DB12 maintains the elegant silhouette characteristic of Aston Martin vehicles.
Deepinder Goyal's journey from founding Zomato in 2008 to becoming a prominent figure in the business world is an inspiration to many. His ventures have significantly impacted the food delivery industry, with Zomato continuing to show robust growth in its operations. The company's recent financial results have exceeded market expectations, with a notable increase in net profit and revenue from operations.
As the first Aston Martin DB12 rolls into Deepinder Goyal's garage, it not only adds to his collection of exotic cars but also signifies the blend of luxury and performance that car enthusiasts aspire to.
