Home services provider Urban Company has partnered with Zomato-backed quick-commerce platform Blinkit.
The partnership is set to revolutionize the delivery and installation of Urban Company's recently launched water purifiers, the Native M1 and M2. The Zomato-backed company will deliver these water purifiers in 30 minutes and install them in just three hours.
Beyond quick commerce
Blinkit's CEO, Albinder Dhindsa, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership on X (formerly Twitter), highlighting the unique offering of the Native water purifiers, which require no servicing for two years.
The venture marks a significant expansion for Blinkit, a Zomato-owned platform, venturing beyond its usual groceries and essentials into the realm of home appliances and beyond.

Urban Company's foray into the water purifier market with the Native M1 and M2 models in October 2023 is part of its broader strategy to address customer needs through innovation.
The company has also recently expanded its service offerings to include wall panelling, woodwork, and premium wall painting, indicating a continuous exploration of new service categories.

Varun Khaitan, Co-founder and COO of Urban Company, highlighted the success of the Native water purifier, noting its smart integration with the UC app for tracking water quality and consumption. The company claims that it has sold over 15,000 units sold in just four months.
