Homegrown Kintree, a free family tree Social App designed to help families connect virtually and explore connections beyond immediate relations, has announced the appointment of IIM Ahmedabad Alumni Vikram Lad as co-founder and chief operating officer (COO) of the firm.
Vikram Lad had worked with consumer-facing businesses like ZEE Entertainment International, Disney STAR, and Chingari in the past.
According to the company's statement, Vikram Lad will help Kintree to further expand in the social entertainment space focusing on family trees along with Marketing, Sales, Operations & Investor Relations.
Vikram Lad, who has 18 years of experience in the media and entertainment industry, is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad.

The startup recently increased its hiring efforts and recruited a number of new employees for its key teams, including technology, product management, customer service, and others.
