Businessman Raj Kundra is set to launch India’s first live streaming social media app, Jaldi Live Stream, which will allow professional as well as amateur streamers to live stream their content. After dabbling in mobile gaming, animation, and sports, Raj Kundra now turned his focus into a live streaming platform.
Kundra said that the company, JL Stream, has received approval from the government of India’s Startup India initiative, and will be the first of its kind Made in India app.
The app will have a 50:50 revenue share arrangement with the creators, where they can encash between $49-1,000 on the same day.

Kundra has also roped in Raj Nayak, former Viacom18 COO and founder of House of Cheers; Bunty Bahl, CEO ITW Blitz; and Nandan Jha, chairman, Powercorridors.in, to the advisory board of the company.
“JL Stream will be the first live stream platform in India, which we also intend to take to international markets. We will launch by end of October,” Kundra told Economic Times.
“After the ban on the Chineses apps, a lot of people jumped on the TikTok bandwagon. But we see opportunity in live streaming. There will be lots of features for content creators. Viewers can send gifts to them, which they can encash same day,” Kundra added.
The company has already started receiving queries from hosts and agencies and it will be launched with over 2,000 confirmed streamers.
