Porter, a tech-enabled on-demand logistics provider, has joined the Indian govt-backed ONDC Network.
The development comes after Porter's parent, SmartShift Logistics Solutions Private Limited, reported significant revenue growth for FY24.
Porter, which was founded in 2014, reported that its revenue from operations soared to Rs 2,733.79 crore, marking a notable increase of 55.87% from Rs 1,753.78 crore in FY23.
What does Porter do?
With a fleet of over 7.5 lakh drivers across more than 22 cities, Porter offers users access to a dependable and scalable logistics network. This ensures seamless order fulfillment as demand grows and provides reliable, hyperlocal delivery services, driving greater efficiency and customer satisfaction.
The ONDC Network is rapidly expanding, with significant growth in same-day hyperlocal deliveries. Currently, the Open Network processes approximately 53,000 orders per day across various categories, including food and grocery.
To support this growth and boost efficiency in the Food & Beverage sector, Porter will provide its two-wheeler services in 20 cities across India, optimizing delivery speed and reliability.

Porter is also aiming enhance its fleet of two-wheelers and expand its supply base in tier-2 and emerging markets.
