Kamra on Ola scooters' bad condition

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari

Comedian Kunal Kamra, in a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), urged Union Minister Nitin Gadkari to address the rising complaints from Ola Electric customers.

Kamra shared a video showing several Ola Electric scooters lined up at the company’s Solapur service center, seemingly in “bad condition.”

“Minister @nitin_gadkari, please look at the plight of Indian customers; their voices aren’t heard. They can’t get to work and are taking bad loans to solve an issue that is primarily Ola’s responsibility…," Kamra wrote, adding, "When will government agencies intervene?"

"I'm from Solapur, and I've witnessed this firsthand... The way consumers are treated is the worst I've seen, especially after they've paid the full amount for Ola Electric," one user wrote.

"This is a matter of grave concern and an indication of brazen corporate arrogance toward the plight of Indian consumers. Isn't it the government’s responsibility to protect ordinary Indians from being conned?" another user commented.
