Last week, Indian startups raised over $126 million in funding, with Robotics startup Haber Nets raising $38 million alone.

These sectors include AI, SaaS, Edtech, Fashiontech, Insurtech, Sportstech, Healthtech, D2C, Lending, Wellness, Semiconductor, GenAI, Logistics, and Beauty.
Last week, Indian startups raised over $126 million in funding, with Robotics startup Haber Nets raising $38 million alone.
A diverse range of sectors attracted investments during the week, with edtech leading the pack. Leading this sector was Eruditus, which raised $150 million in a funding round. Omnichannel beauty retailer Purplle closed a Rs 1500 crore funding round after raising an additional Rs 500 crore.
The list was followed by the Service resolution intelligence platform Neuron7.ai, Jewellery startup GIVA, and SaaS startup Everstage, which collectively raised $104.3 million.
Neuron7.ai raised $44 million, GIVA raised $30.3 million, and Everstage raised $30 million.
Emerging startups
Sustainability startup Brown Living raised funding in a pre-seed round, Robotics startup Perceptyne raised $3 million in a seed round, Biogas-tech startup Sistema.bio raised $15 million in funding, AI startup Data Science Wizards raised $1.4 million in a seed round, Logistics startup Elixia Robotics raised $1 million in a pre-Series A round, D2C startup Yoho raised $3.2 million in a pre-Series B round, GenAI startup Alchemyst AI raised $300,000 in a pre-seed round, Edtech startup Suraasa raised $6 million in funding, Eldercare startup Primus Senior Living raised $20 million in a seed round, and AI startup Tablesprint raised $1 million in a seed round.
Wellness startup Lifechart raised $500,000 in funding, Semiconductor startup AGNIT Semiconductors raised $3.5 million in a seed round, Fashion startup WROGN raised $9 million in funding, Fintech startup Slice raised $8.6 million in funding, AI startup Budy.bot raised $4.2 million in funding, SaaS startup SimpliSmart raised $7 million in a Series A round, Consumer Foods startup Yu raised $6.54 million in a Series B round, and AI startup Febi.ai raised $2 million in a pre-Series A round.
Meanwhile, Fashiontech startup Anny, SaaS startup Traqo, OEM startup SuperUs, e-commerce roll-up startup Evenflow, Insurtech startup Healspan, Magnus Farm Fresh, Sportstech startup Sportskill, Petcare startup PetStrong, and Healthtech startup Medprime Technologies kept the funding figures under wraps.
Merger and acquisition highlights
The period also witnessed strategic mergers and acquisitions. Licious acquired My Chicken and More, US-based IBM acquired Bengaluru-based Prescinto, Indium acquired Experion, Weaver Services acquired Capital India Home Loans, and Jetapult acquired UMX Studio.
