Gurgaon-based Ayurveda tech startup Nirogstreet raises $2 million (Rs 146 crore) in its pre-Series A funding round from Wavemaker and Amand Ventures. While its existing investor Spiral Ventures has also participated in the funding round.
The startup will use this fresh capital for deeper penetration, strengthen technology in its platform and infrastructure, and digitize the supply chain.
The startups aim to strengthening its reach, improving customer experience, and offering an engaging technology platform for Ayurveda doctors and experts.
Further, The startup aims to strengthen its network of Ayurveda doctors and certified clinics for the delivery of the services to the patient across the country.

“Ayurveda has demonstrated its leadership in the time of Covid-19 and we played an important role in making Ayurveda mainstream. Ayurveda has huge potential to bring India on the center stage of world healthcare," said, Ram N Kumar, Founder, NirogStreet.
"As a B2B2C technology-enabled and doctor-led platform, we are consistently streamlining the supply chain of Ayurvedic services and medicine, transforming it into a proper healthcare system by engaging and empowering Ayurveda doctors and clinics to create an experience that patients can trust,” he added.
“Ayurvedic medicine is one of the world’s oldest holistic healing systems. It was developed more than 3,000 years ago in India. Ayurveda has provided relief and treatment for chronic conditions for thousands of years. However, it is plagued by non-standardized doctors and medicines," said, Paul Santos, Managing Partner, Wavemaker Partners.

In June 2018, NirogStreet first raised $300,000 in its Seed funding round from Singapore-based venture capital firm Spiral Ventures. Additionally, Shubo Ray, An Angel Investor has also invested an undisclosed amount in the Seed funding round of NirogStreet.
NirogStreet is funded by 5 investors and has raised a total of $2.3 million in funding over three rounds.
