Noid-based gaming startup Awon GameZ, on Monday, announced it raised $2 million in a seed funding round led by Aditya Duggar and Family.
Following this round, Awon GameZ will focus on scaling operations through an expanded product portfolio, deepening market reach, product development, and hiring global talent to drive growth in the organization.
Founded in 2020 by Amardeep Bajpai, The gaming startup aims to create a unique gaming experience for online gamers- a single multi-gaming app on which multiple games can be downloaded.
It offers an easy-to-use and trustworthy online casual gaming platform, which promises a seamless online experience for all gamers. Stack ball, Dart Game, Hockey, Rummy, Fruit Slice, and 8 Pool ball, are some of its popular hosted games. Additionally, Through its gaming platform, users can play games with the option of hosting an audio chat and video conferencing with their friends to create a real-life personalized experience.
Awon GameZ aspires to be a one-stop gaming solution and looks to serve clients with gamification according to their goals and preferences, along with introducing an online marketplace that serves the needs of the entire gaming community, the statement said.
Looking at the past exponential growth rate of the user base of skill-based real money gaming, Awon is now aiming to target over 10 million users by the end of the year. Awom GameZ is also looking to launch an online marketplace that caters to the requirements of its users and gamers in general.
“Any player has a 50 percent odds of winning in real money gaming, which is way higher than any other platform. All you need are sets of skills to increase your winning possibilities," Amardeep Bajpai, Founder of Awon GameZ, said.
Speaking on the investment, Aditya Duggar said: “Gaming is not just about regular games like Candy Crush. It’s also about skill-based games that engage serious ‘gamers. Today’s gamers play card-based and fantasy games. Both these are categories that are a high investment and high involvement genres for gamers.”
