Flipkart Ventures opens applications for ‘Flipkart Leap Ahead’ program; to invest $500,000 in GenAI startups

Flipkart Ventures is calling for applications for the third cohort of its accelerator program, "Flipkart Leap Ahead" (FLA).

The program is set to prioritize startups that integrate Generative AI (GenAI) into their core operations. These startups can come from various sectors and, if selected, will be eligible for equity investments ranging from $200,000 to $500,000.

Early-stage tech startups are encouraged to apply from April 22 through May 26, 2024. The program targets startups at stages between Seed and Series A, particularly those from fields like Fintech, Mobility, Logistics, SaaS, B2B Marketplaces, HealthTech, DeepTech, and Climate & Sustainability.

The selection process will emphasize companies that effectively utilize GenAI technology.

Mentorship and growth opportunities

Once selected, startups will undergo a two-month intensive mentorship program. They will receive guidance from industry veterans, operators, and founders to help achieve product-market fit, build scalable solutions, and develop strong teams.

The program concludes with a demo day, during which startups present their progress and future plans to potential investors. Over 15 startups across various industries like deeptech, fintech, healthtech, generative AI, and climate sustainability have benefited from Flipkart Ventures' investments in the past.
