High-value deals
A diverse range of sectors attracted investments during the week, with edtech leading the pack. Leading this sector was upGrad, which reportedly raised $60 million in funding. AI Acceleration Cloud System provider Neysa raised $30 million in a Series A funding round.
The list was followed by the healthcare startup Even Healthcare, Dairytech startup Stellapps Technologies, and Healthtech startup Healthify, which collectively raised $76 million in funding.
Even Healthcare raised $30 million, Stellapps raised $26 million, and Healthify raised $20 million.
Emerging startups
Early-stage consumer brands, The Paan Legacy, Hemptyful, and Polr.Care have each secured funding of up to Rs 1 crore. Celcius Logistics, Ohm Logistics, and Fitsol each secured Rs 1.8 crore in growth capital.
NG Earsafe has raised Rs 1.06 crore in a seed funding round, Advance Mobility raised $3 million in funding, Workplace technology provider OLOID raised $6 million, and D2C bags and luggage brand Zouk raised $10 million in a Series B funding round.
Meanwhile, Vehicle ownership platform Automoto, Construction tech startup Modulus Housing, and Wellness brand Sushain Wellness kept the funding figures under wraps.
Merger and acquisition highlights
The period also witnessed strategic mergers and acquisitions. Bizom acquired Rhythm 2.0 Sales Route Optimiser, and Traveltech firm Ixigo acquired a 51% stake in Zoop, a train food delivery service provider.
