HRtech startup Umwelt.AI raises $125,000 in a seed round led by Upekkha

Umwelt.AI, an AI-driven people analytics and employee engagement platform, has raised $125,000 in a seed funding round led by SaaS accelerator Upekkha. 

The Faridabad-based startup plans to use the raised capital to expand its global presence and provide solutions to organizations across various sectors.

What does Umwelt.AI do?

Founded in 2018 by Vishal Chopra, Umwelt.AI uses behavioural science, chatbot technology, and advanced analytics to enable CEOs and HR leaders to listen, analyse, and act on employee feedback in real-time.

“Our platform is designed to bridge the gap between employee expectations and organisational realities, enabling companies to unlock their workforce’s full potential," said Chopra.

The startup's platform helps organizations improve their employee net promoter score (ENPS) and employee response rates, resulting in a more engaged workforce. It measures critical indicators such as mood, engagement, and risk of attrition, allowing companies to address issues before they escalate.

Through its predictive analytics capabilities, the startup claims to have reduced early attrition rates, leading to cost savings and improved talent retention.

The startup claims to serve notable clients such as Quess Corp, Vero Moda, Jack & Jones, Foundit, and Allsec BPO.
