Computer Vision SaaS startup Assert AI raises $4M in a Series A funding round

Indian Computer Vision SaaS startup Assert AI has raised $4 million (approximately Rs 30 crore) in a Series A funding round.

The round was led by prominent investors such as Ramesh Hariharan, former CTO and Co-founder of LatentView, Prashant Purker, ex-MD and CEO of ICICI Venture, Arya.ag, India's largest integrated grain commerce platform, and several other individual investors. 

Strengthening presence in global markets 

With existing operations spread across India, the US, and the Middle East, Assert AI plans to use the raised capital to strengthen its presence in these critical markets.

The startup plans to enhance its research and development capabilities significantly and continue its pioneering work in Computer Vision technology.

What does Assert AI do? 

Founded by Job Philip, Assert AI empowers computers with a pair of eyes that never sleep and a program to process the visual inputs and identify and process things simulating a human vision, sans human error. 

The startup helps businesses and organizations automate processes, improve customer experiences, and gain valuable insights into their operations.

Assert AI products

The startup has developed three products, including "Pratham," touted as the world's first no-code platform for Computer Vision, specifically designed for non-AI users. 

The platform democratizes access to AI-powered video analytics, making it accessible to a broader audience.

Alongside Pratham, Assert AI has developed "Alpha," a platform that provides clients with various data consumption and integration options such as API endpoints, direct hardware integration, and comprehensive dashboards. 

Additionally, Its drone-based solution "Falcon" is transforming warehouse inventory management by enabling real-time tracking and optimization capabilities.
