Bengaluru-based Clientell, a software provider of sales forecasting and pipeline assessment for enterprises, has raised $2.5 million in a seed funding round led by Blume Ventures.
The round also saw participation from Chiratae Ventures, Artha Venture Fund, and Silicon Valley-based Z5 Capital. Prior to this round, the startup raised $600,000 in funding from Chiratae Ventures and Artha Venture Fund in late 2021.
What is the purpose of fundraising?
Clientell plans to use the fresh capital to strengthen its product offerings and expand its team. The funding will also support its continued development of AI tools that cater specifically to the needs of its users, aiming to optimize sales execution and enhance revenue operations.
What does Clientell do?
Founded in 2021 by BITS Pilani alumni Saahil Dhaka and Neil Sarkar, Clientell provides customized forecasting processes and machine learning models tailored to each customer's needs.
The startup's products are designed to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve data quality for enterprises, focusing primarily on chief revenue officers and go-to-market (GTM) leaders.
What impact does Clientell aim to have?
CEO Saahil Dhaka emphasized the startup's mission to revolutionize enterprise sales teams by addressing key challenges in revenue generation and predictability. "When the world is talking about 10x developers, we’re focused on bringing useful AI products to help 10x salespeople, CRM developers, and GTM leaders," Dhaka stated. The company aims to tackle the "leaky revenue bucket" and the gaps in comprehensive revenue intelligence.
Sanjay Nath, founder and managing partner at Blume Ventures, praised Clientell's approach to integrating AI into enterprise functions. "As AI penetrates different functions of the enterprise, an AI-first end-to-end connected approach will help sales teams to benefit immediately from deeper insights on their deals and revenue milestones," Nath explained.
