Bengaluru-based B2B sales startup Revrag has raised $600,000 in a pre-seed funding round led by Powerhouse Ventures, with participation from several high-profile investors, including Viral Bajaria (co-founder of 6Sense), Kunal Shah (founder of Cred), Deepak Anchala (founder of Slintel), and Vetri Vellore (founder of Rhythms), alongside other angel investors. 

What does Revrag do?

Founded in 2022 by Ashutosh Prakash Singh, Neeraj Gupta, and Pankaj Gupta, Revrag aims to empower revenue teams by automating repetitive tasks.

The startup enhances sales efficiency by leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to automate the initial stages of the sales process. This approach allows human sales teams to focus on more complex client interactions and strategic decision-making, potentially revolutionizing how businesses generate revenue.

Launching AI-BDR

Revrag will use the raised capital to explore many other territories and focus on business operations like sales and marketing.

In addition, the startup will invest in launching an AI-powered Business Development Representative (AI-BDR), which is designed to handle initial prospect outreach and meeting scheduling, tasks that are often time-consuming for sales teams.

The AI agent will automate these processes at scale, intelligently qualify leads, and provide data-driven insights, which will support more informed decision-making by sales teams.

“Our AI-BDR can smoothly take care of the initial prospect outreach and schedule meetings, allowing human sellers to focus more on client interactions and other complexities of the sales process," Singh said.

The previously introduced AI agent, Emma, set the foundation for how businesses could evolve with modern technology.
